THE BAHAMAS

Sparkling Turquoise Seas…. Powder White and Pink Sand Beaches … Tropical Vegetation … Dazzling As A Picture Postcard …

Spread over 600 miles of beautiful turquoise waters, 700 islands and 2,000 cays make up the Bahamas. Discovered by Columbus in 1492, each island group in the Bahamas has its own flavor.

The ABACOS are renowned for boat building and still retain the architecture and cultural flavor of British Colonial life. Reef-protected waters, pink sand beaches and pastel cottages make the Abacos a delightful cruising destination.

Bone fishing thrives in the ANDROS and the EXUMAS, along with a good dose of relaxation. Be sure to visit STANIEL CAY, which is sprinkled with brightly colored houses and THUNDERBALL GROTTO where to 007 movie was filmed.

There is excellent sport fishing around the BERRY ISLANDS and big game fishing can be enjoyed off BIMINI.  LONG ISLAND is a diver’s paradise.

GRAND BAHAMA is a center for golfers and excellent duty-free shopping. Port Lucaya is home to a market place with West Indian style buildings.

ELEUTHERA has world famous pink sand beaches and the INAGUAS host pink flamingos.

NEW PROVIDENCE, home to NASSAU, CABLE BEACH and PARADISE ISLAND represent the flashier side of THE BAHAMAS. Here yachtsmen enjoy luxurious marinas, exclusive resorts, duty-free shopping, casinos and vibrant nightlife.
